Boat Description
Cruising in the Philippines, the M/Y Resolute yacht is a highly experienced liveaboard visiting the Tubbataha UNESCO World Heritage Site and the Apo Reef. The Resolute accommodates a maximum of 16 divers in 8 cabins which are all equipped with an en-suite and air-conditioning. At the boat's bow, there are loungers and space to soak up the sun and the indoor saloon has an entertainment system and camera room. In the open-air dining room, meat, seafood, soup, and vegetables are served buffet-style. History buffs will be glad to find out that the M/Y Resolute has a rare and unique history of being a Soviet spy trawler during the cold war.
From April to June, guests can access the Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park consisting of two atolls and the adjacent Jessie Beazley Reef. Here, divers may encounter reef, nurse, and hammerhead sharks. During the cooler months of July to October, the M/Y Resolute navigates Southern Luzon diving the Apo Reef, treating divers to whale sharks, thresher sharks, and colourful creatures.
