About Calypso Scuba Diving Center
Diving base Calypso Scuba Diving was founded in year 1998 at the estuary of the Cetina River in Omiš. The diving base is located in the small city marina, nearby large parking place and near the main sandy beach “Velika Plaža” where our boat is moored. Our flagship "SAL" for daily excursions is an 13 m fully equipped Yacht powered by 500 PS twin engine and has capacity to host 10 divers at once. Yacht "SAL" allows divers to use toilet , galley , salon with 220 V , fresh water shower on deck, sunny deck , crane to lift heavy equipment and tub for desalinate camera and accessorize. Another boat "CALYPSO" is an 8 meters long boat, powered by 60 PS diesel engine and has capacity to host 6 divers at once. Diving base has 30 complete scuba sets supported by 3 large Bauer-Drager K15 electric compressors of 700 litres /min air capacity and air bank
Our main goal is to provide best diving courses for professional and for first-time DISCOVERY divers. Our diving courses consist of theory (we provide digital SSI literature) and diving lessons with equipment, instructor and transfer by boat to diving locations. Beside diving courses we also sell and rent diving equipment.
We try to save the seabed and strongly force the fight against plastic and other waste in the seabed,which we remove every day with our clients who wish to join us in ocean /marine protection.

The diving center is open from May 15 to November 1. every year .
The main season is from 15.07. To 01.09. and in that period we have diving trips for certified divers and for beginners separately every day except Sunday.
Office hours are from 0900 to 1800.
Parking area next to the diving center is charged and for our clients is 2 euros / day
Bus lines with Split run every 30 minutes.
