About Aqua-Marina
Aqua-Marina is one of the longest established dive centers in the Canary Islands, dating back to 1999, with the current owners and core team teaching and guiding dives here since 2004. This level of experience allows you to fully enjoy your time with us knowing that we take the utmost care of your safety.
The dive center has a truly international feel with divers arriving from all over the world, conversing in many languages including Dutch, French, German, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and of course English. At any time we may have Divemaster interns bringing other languages into the mix.
Our bright and spacious dive centre is located in Paseo Verode behind Hotel Oro Blanco. We prepare for the day's activity at the dive centre then transport you and your kit to our boat moored at Los Cristianos harbour. The typical journey time in the boat is 5-15 minutes and the standard dive time is 45-50 minutes. If you are making multiple dives, you will spend the surface interval at the beach cafe next to the harbour. Occasionally we make shore dives in order to reach different dive sites.
In addition to guided dives for certified divers we offer Discover Scuba options for beginners. Also some dive sites are great for snorkelers and we can run mixed trips for snorkelers and divers to the same site.
PADI recreational dive courses are run on demand. We also offer Divemaster training, Instructor Development Courses and PADI TecRec 40, 45 & 50.

We offer a complementary pick up and drop off service in the South of Tenerife from El Medano on the East coast to Abama Hotel on the West coast.
We meet at 09.00 for the first dive and those making 1 dive will be back at the center around 12.00 and those making 2 dives will be back at the center between 14.00 and 15.00. The surface interval is spent at Los Cristianos harbour.
PADI Dive courses are run on demand as far as possible. Discover Scuba can easily be converted into Scuba Diver or Open Water with the full amount paid being discounted against the chosen course. The PADI Advanced Open Water course can be combined with a number of Specialties, such as Deep or Nitrox.
We are also fully equipped to support tec diving with O2, sofnolime, rebreather tanks, sidemount gear, twin tanks, etc. and can teach PADI TecRec 40, 45 and 50 and Sidemount.
We run Divemaster Internships or courses throughout the year and 4 times annually there are Instructor Development courses timed to coincide with the PADI Instructor Exam held here on the island.
